EMERGENCY SYSTEM

What is an emergency lighting system?

The fire emergency lighting evacuation direction system is a building fire protection system that supports the safe evacuation of personnel. It consists of fire emergency lighting fixtures, fire emergency sign fixtures, and related equipment. Its main function is to provide the lighting conditions and correct evacuation direction information required for the safe evacuation of personnel, firefighting activities, and rescue activities in emergencies such as fires.

Why batteries are used in emergency lights?

Batteries play a vital role in emergency lighting systems. They store energy when the main power supply is working properly, and then provide the stored energy to the light source when the main power supply fails. This ensures that the emergency lights work during power outages, providing the necessary lighting for safe evacuation.

How to Install a Centralized Power Supply Battery for Emergency Lighting?

The following steps are required to install a battery for the centralized power supply for emergency lighting. 1. Turn off the power. Before performing any electrical work, make sure the power is turned off. This can be done by switching the main power switch to the "off" or "disconnect" position.

2. Locate the battery box. You can find the battery box in your centralized power supply equipment (PSE). It is usually located on the back or bottom of the device. If you can't find it, could you check your device's user manual for its exact location?

3. Remove the old battery: Open the battery box and take out the old battery. You may need to use a screwdriver or other tool to loosen the locking mechanism of the battery compartment. Once the old battery is removed, install the new battery.

4. Check the new battery. When purchasing a new battery, make sure it is genuine or compatible. Make sure the battery voltage, capacity, and size match the old battery. In addition, check the battery for cracks, dents, and corrosion that may affect the battery's performance.

5. Install the new battery. Place the new battery in the battery box. Make sure the battery polarity (positive and negative) is facing correctly. Batteries usually have clear positive and negative markings. Place the battery in the slot and gently press it in until it is fully seated in place.

6. Re-seal the battery box. Close the battery box cover and make sure it is fully locked. Then replace the centralized power supply in its proper place.

7. Reconnect the power. Reconnect the main power cord to the centralized power supply and make sure all connections are tight and undamaged. Then turn it on and check if the device works properly.

8. Test the emergency lighting system. Finally, test the emergency lighting system to make sure it is working properly. This includes testing the on/off and automatic switching functions of the emergency lighting device. If you experience any problems during the test, turn it off and check for problems with the battery, connections, and other components.
